Bob Kenney joins NACTR’s Advisory Board

We would like to welcome Bob Kenney as a new member of the NACTR Advisory Board. Bob’s long environment focused tenure will be an asset to NACTR’s team.

Don’t know Bob Kenney? Here is a quick summary:

Bob Kenney has worked for the past 22 years for Nova Scotia Environment in the resource management group.  Bob’s current work is focused on increased solid waste diversion and associated economic benefits by:

  • Supporting new and existing waste diversion businesses and municipal diversion programs to enhance their efficiency, scale and value added outputs;
  • Coordinating research and development projects in the private, public and academic sectors for waste materials that are challenging to effectively and efficiently collect and recycle (including plastics);

Bob also co-chairs the Canadian Council of Ministers of Environment ‘Waste Resource Recovery Committee’ which released Phase I and Phase II of the Canada Wide Plan on Zero Plastic Waste over the last two years.

Welcome Bob!
